YHS Cross Country

The high school had their first meet at Sandwich on Thursday and had a pretty good showing with both the boy's and girl's teams coming in first place. Ali Hester won the girl's race while Scott King won the boy's. YMS Cross Country alums Savanah Sellars, Zak Acara, Shawn O'Malley, Brad King, Alec Hamburg, and Josh Love all finished with great times for their first high school event.
The high school will be holding their Invite on September 2 at Harris Park, the day before our first meet at the same location. The meet will start at 4:30pm and all YMS runners should check it out if you get the chance, especially if you didn't run with us last year. It will give you a great idea of what a cross country meet is like. Hope to see you there!
