Rosary/Marmion Invite
September 16, 2015
While we did not have any individuals earn awards at the Marmion/Rosary Invite, the team did come away with a pair of third place trophies. P.R.'s were hard to come by because of the fast times from Parkside over the weekend, but Aiden Rhody (14:15), Bobby Page (15:36), Corey Kramer (12:31), Evan Borneman (13:44), Evan May (13:41), Hunter Reyes (14:11), Lauren Laue (16:54), Maggie Krider (16:17), and Max Pesola (13:31) managed to run their fastest times of the year.
Alexis Nelson finished first for the girls with a time of 14:37 in 25th place. She was followed by Tayhler Srachta (15:06, 32nd), Paige Green (15:13, 35th), Alex Meyers (15:13, 37th), and Lauren Bell (15:32, 41st) to finish out the scoring for the team. Natalee Penland (15:42, 44th) and Alex Badus (15:49, 48th) finished in the top seven for the team on the way to a third place finish behind Batavia and St. Charles teams that were running their full rosters.
On the boys side, Ernie Rowoldt led the way in 12:22 to finish in 17th place. Corey Kramer set a P.R. in 20th place with his time of 12:31 and was followed by Nicholas Gerakaris (12:39, 22nd), Jack Brucher (12:43, 24), and Peyton Tiseth (13:05, 26th). Caleb Gulbro (13:05, 33rd) and Tyler Deutsch (13:17, 36th) rounded out the top seven for the team, which also finished third behind Batavia and St. Charles.
