The Parkside Invite
September 5, 2015
This coming week will be the first invite in which the entire team gets to participate. The bus on Saturday will leave from the middle school for Parkside Junior High in Normal at 6am so runners need to make sure they get some sleep the night before. The girl's varsity race will be at 9:30am, followed by the boys at 10am. The girl's open race will be at 10:30am followed by the boys at 11am. Awards will be held in the gym of Parkside Junior High at noon. The top three teams in the varsity races will receive trophies while the the 25 individuals in ALL races will receive medals. This is a great opportunity for some runners outside our top seven to earn some hardware. Our rosters for the varsity races are below.

Tuesday at St. Charles Wredling
Tuesday's meet will be at Wredling Middle School in St. Charles right next to St. Charles East High School. The meet will start at 4:15pm and the bus will leave right after school. Runners in Coach Miller's group will NOT be running in this meet. However, they will ride the bus and participate in a workout before the races start and then cheer on their teammates after their workout.
Thursday at the Park and Friday's Elementary Race
Thursday's practice will be held at Harris County Forest Preserve on Route 71 near the Kendall County Fairgrounds east of Route 47. Runners will be bussed to Harris, but should be picked up from the park at 4:15. On Friday, the elementary intramural cross country program will be finishing their first week of practice with a mile time trial at Yorkville Intermediate. All four elementary school programs will be participating and the race will start at 5pm. We encourage all middle school runners to show up and cheer on their future teammates after our own practice on Friday.
