What a great first week of practice! Coach Martin and I are really proud of the runners who have turned out so far. Everyone is showing a lot of heart and it's great to have so many runners out this year. A special shout-out goes to Caroline, Graham, and James who ran over 5 miles at Saturday's practice! It was also great to hear that a few runners who didn't run the 5-mile course decided on their own to run an extra mile. We love to see that and we'll keep that in mind when we decide on captains at the end of next week.
Monday we will be having a time trial at the track to get a baseline for all our runners. Get a good night's rest and have a good dinner Sunday night so you can do your best on Monday. Have a great weekend!
