Red/White P.R.'s and Meet Information

It was a chilly morning at Silver Springs, and it may have caught some runners off-guard. There will still some personal records set, but it was good to get a cold race in early since later in the season this could be the norm. Cold weather is usually beneficial for running, but you need to be mentally ready for the cold to reap the benefits. You can see the full results on our Results page, and the P.R.'s are below.

Tuesday's Meets
We have two meets on Tuesday. One is the Royal/Cadet Invite hosted by Marmion Academy and Rosary High School. Medals will be given out to the top ten boys and top ten girls in each race and the top three teams will receive trophies. The other meet will be at St. Charles Haines. We are going to take anyone who did not run at the New Lenox Invite last month to Marmion and everyone who did run at New Lenox will be running in St. Charles. Below are our rosters for each meet.

The Troy Invite
The Troy Invite on Saturday is our biggest meet of the year outside of the state series. The bus will leave at 7am on Saturday for the course at Hammel Woods Forest Preserve in Shorewood. Awards should be around 11:30am and we anticipate returning around 12:30pm. If anyone cannot make the Troy Invite please let us know ASAP so we can put someone else in the meet. It is a fun race to participate in and we don't want to leave any roster spots open. The following is our roster for Saturday's Troy Invite:

Anyone who did not make the Troy Invite roster is free to cheer on the team at Hammel Woods. There will only be one bus, however, so you will have to provide your own transportation. We will not have practice for runners on Saturday.
