Tuesday Meet Results
September 17, 2014
We had two meets this past Tuesday. A few runners went to St. Charles Haines if they had run the New Lenox Invite in August. The rest of the team went to the Royal/Cadet Invite hosted by Rosary High School and Marmion Academy.
You can see the full results from the invite here. Emily Eberhart led the entire race to finish in 12:55 for the girls. Roni Bruck also earned a medal for her 6th place finish in 13:53. The other girls in the top 7 were Hannah Wolf (16th, 15:12), Maddie Russelburg (20th, 15:29), Tori Cavey (26th, 15:56), Alexandra Badus (27th, 16:06), and Abby Wahl (29th, 16:16). The girls finished second with 53 points to Immanuel Batavia's 37 points.
The boys were led by Cole Bruck and Peyton Tiseth. Cole finished in 4th place with a time of 12:10 and Peyton was 5th in 12:28. The top 7 included Ernie Rowoldt (11th, 13:00), Rick Undesser (12th, 13:02), Matt Megazzini (14th, 13:08), Jimmy Eberhart (16th, 13:15), and Kyle DiVerde (17th, 13:16). The boys won the invite for the second year in a row. They scored 38 points to outpace second place Holy Angels by a margin of 40 points.
