The first season of the Yorkville Middle School 5K Club is in the books with track season starting up soon. We had 17 runners participate in a 5K over the winter, and there were some great performances. Here are some stats from the season:
- 9 girls and 8 boys participated
- Runners took home 20 awards
- Runners ran in 8 different races
- The Yorkville Chili Chase had the most participation with 16 runners participating
- Emily Titus participated in 5 races, which was the most out of the group
