Emily Berge and Emily Titus were the only YMS runners to participate in the Warm Your Heart Indoor 5K in Chicago, but they represented Yorkville well. Emily Berge finished first in the 1-14 female age group with a time of 23:57 and Emily Titus was right behind her in second with a time of 24:40. Congratulations to Emily and Emily for finishing out the 5K Club season in style.
Certificates for 5K Club will be handed out in the next week or two. We have results from the following races:
- Fraidy Cat 5K in Oswego on 10/27
- Chili Chase in Yorkville on 11/17
- Jingle Bell Jog in Oswego on 12/8
- Reindeer Run in Minooka on 12/15
- New Year's Day 5K in Chicago on 1/1
- Hot Chocolate Hustle in Adrian, MI on 2/1
- Super Bowl Shuffle in Geneva on 2/2
- Warm Your Heart Indoor 5K in Chicago on 2/23
If there were any other 5K races that runners participated in, please send the results to Coach Miller at demiller@y115.org to make sure those results are included on the certificate.
