Races in the Winter

Are you getting the itch to race again? If you'd like to run in a race there are plenty to be found in the Chicago area in the winter. You can go to the Chicago Area Runners Association website to search for races and find some that interest you. You'll find a number of indoor races that have you climbing stairs, but there is also the Warm Your Heart 5K that is a single-loop inside McCormick Place in Chicago. Coach Miller and Christie will both be running that one, but look through the list and see if there is anything you like. There are plenty of outdoor races as well, which can be fun if you are prepared for the cold weather.
If you participate in any races let Coach Miller know so he can recognize you on the website.

Haha I find it funny how many girls are hitting on alex you all know he rarely checks the website right? And whoever is yelling at Ppl for spelling please stop, spelling is the only thing I've ever gotten an f in and it really bothers me when ppl can't just sound out a word

top ten reasons why alexx should do track: 1. he really wants to be running again and in track (especially practices) you run ALOT 2. everyone likes alexx (in the friend kind of way and the other way) that is going to join track 3. if he joins track then he will meet even more people than he already knows (especially if he does both track and baseball) 4. thor's doing track (RIGHT THOR!!!) 5. in track there are girls :) 6. track is alot of fun (especially at meets) 7. alexx can be a leader and have his little brother join track when he is in seventh grade (same with cross country) 8. everyone wants alexx to join 9. track will keep you running both short and long distances 10. because i said so (or because he actually thinks it would be more fun that just baseball but wont admit it) i hope i convinced you! :) (i reposted them because i was afraid alexx wouldn't be able to see them because of all of the other comments) and 11. because you're good at it! i hope you join and i love you!
