Dear "im much better than you" \ having an attitude like that will get you no where. if you want to be on the middle school team or the high school team.... well good luck with that cause its not going to work. Cross country is a team sport, where you WORK as a TEAM. Its rude to act like your better than everyone else especially since you havent shown what you can do. if you want to succed have a positive attitude. being a high schooler, no one acts like that.

OMG! you guys did so great today!!!! i saw the results on some other website! JuliaS and Gianna! you guys did soooo AMAZING! but i bet thats not a shock because you guys are realllllyyyyy GGOOOODD!!!!! and Madde, Nicole, and Julia M. you guys did so great for running 3.1 miles at your age!!! you guys were like right behind gianna and julia!!! you guys are going to be all-stars next year!!! and the boys did FANTASTIC!!!! yourguys did sooooo good!!!!!! i cant believe it!!!!!!! i wish i could of ran it today with you guys :( great job! and congratz on getting the top 3 in you age divison cody/ kevin and jake and gianna and julia s. and julia m/maddie/nicoel and being sooo close!!!!!!

yah... the play was alright. if they fixed the mic issue and people didn't pause so often between their parts and if the parts were a little bit more interesting and if THOR would stop singing Christmas carols during intermission and yelling happy birthday to Austin then it might have been better...

I totally agree with Julia and Giann and whoever anonymous is. no one on our team is better than anybody on our team. we are all great runners and all have worked hard to earn where we are now. we one person from yorkville gets 1st we all do. if a person gets last we all do . we are all there for everybody on our team. and if you want to prove yourself better than join the team but trashing the webiste isnt going ot get you anywhere. :)

Dude. Gianna, i love you but you already knew that. Dear, "im much better than you" i think it was extremely rude to just go off and trash not only our team but my best friends. We are the really good because we put our blood sweat and tears into this sport to do as well as we do. while you were chillin all summer hanging out with you friends we were running 6 miles in 95 degree weather! again, you took time out of your day to trash a team with a great reputation and great runners. Finally, like gianna said if you are that good join the high school team! Or do track so we can asess if you can walk the walk, cause OBVIOUSLY you can talk the talk. <3 julia

gianna i totally agree! and that "im much better than you" person, cross country involves teamwork as well as individual work. yorkville is a fantastic team and without every single runner, we may not be the team we were this year.

We need to act like a team and SUPPORT each other. if we dont we will all fall apart. and of course we dont want that to happen, do we? So to anyone who thinks they are better than other people on the team you should know that even if you are 10 min. better than another person on our team they may have never run hard before and might not have your physical abilities. Dear whoever, " im much better than you" is, we all work very hard as a team to with hold the reputation our team has. If you're as good as you say, you should have been on the team. We did take first in multiple meets because we support one another, and we all work hard to get to the places we are at now. We have no "all-stars" we have runners who worked their butts off everyday at practice who earned that spot in Top 7 for their compassion, as well as their dedication to this team. State was a tough goal to reach, especially taking 10th. Maybe if you were on our team we would have done better, who knows. It's just not very respectful to trash the little team that works SO HARD to keep the big teams like Belvidere, and Troy afraid of us. If you're as great as you say, join the team next year. I'm sure you'd be a great addition, Yorkville cross country is all about taking in new runners who are up for the challenge. :)

Let's keep the comments on the nicer end of things. It's okay to talk trash now and again, but at least don't do so anonymously. Members of our cross country team are competitive, but are supportive of each other and don't talk to teammates that way. If you want to prove you're the best then work hard and join the team in the fall.
