Congrats to Jake Hoffert and Sarah Megazzini

Jake Hoffert and Sarah Megazzini were honored at the Board of Education meeting on May 23 at the middle school for their accomplishments during this past school year. While Sarah could not attend she was honored for earning the IESA Scholar Attitude award that we talked about in a previous post.
Jake was honored for earning All-State at the IESA State Cross Country meet last October. Jake ran a 10:50 2-mile to place 6th and became the first YMS athlete to earn All-State honors.
Congratulations to Jake and Sarah!

Thanks for the letter and I like the posters around the school. The Walter Payton Sweetness 5K & 8K is on Saturday,June 4 at YHS. The 5K starts at 8:15. You can register online for a cheaper price but it is $34 on the day of the event. Register online at www.payton34.com
