Winter Running Info

It was great to see almost our entire cross country team at the meeting this morning. We even had a lot of new faces who plan on joining next year, which was great to see. Coach Martin has copies of the workout plan we handed out so see him if you need an extra copy. You can also talk to or email either of us if you have questions during the off-season. You can get the recruiting form we handed out from Coach Martin or from the FAQ section of this website.

We do want to emphasize that running during the off-season is unofficial. The school is not liable for anything that happens during your runs so run in safe areas and run with groups if you can. The schedule of runs is also up to the individual runner. The schedule we handed out is just a guideline so if you want to run more or less then adjust the schedule to fit your needs. If you are hurt or just getting bored with running then take some time off. We don't want our runners getting burned out. The summer is the most important time to get in a lot of work so if you take it a bit easier during the winter that's okay. Run with friends and have fun out there!
