Saturday's Red/White Run

On Saturday we will be holding YMS Cross Country's annual Red/White Run at Silver Springs. It will be a 2-mile race amongst our team, and we will have trophies for the winners of each grade and gender. After the race we will be announcing the runners we will be taking to Sectionals, which is a week from Saturday on October 10. The rest of our runners will still have two meets to go: a home meet on Monday and our conference meet on Thursday. I definitely recommend runners bring a change of clothes Saturday since we may get some rain.
If the weather holds out we will be going to Parfection Park to play some mini-golf after the race. We are getting a group rate of $3/person so it's a good deal and hopefully a good time. I hope everyone is ready for our last week of cross country practice. Hopefully it will be a successful week.
