The girls and boys both had great races at Simmons, which is our shortest meet of the year. All of last year's record times were beaten. Jake Hoffert set the 7th grade boy's record with a time of 7:11; Caroline Almas set the 7th grade girl's record with a time of 8:30; Justin Vacha set the 8th grade boy's record with a time of 6:47; and Anna Greenawalt set the 8th grade girl's record with a time of 8:34. The boy's team won with 28 points to ACS' 49 and Simmons' 59 while the girl's team won with 25 points to ACS' 51 and Simmons' 118. Great job Foxes!
We also have a new date for our team photo. Our team photo will be next Wednesday, September 16. That is the day after our meet at Thompson so make sure runners bring their uniforms on both days. If you need a form to buy photos you can get one from Mr. Larson or ask Coach Miller and he will get one.
