Sectional Week

Congratulations to those runners who made our post-season roster. Our post-season top 7 will run at Sectionals and State while our 3 alternates will train with the team over the next two weeks and step in if needed. Our post-season roster includes the following runners:

Boys:

1. Ivan Westcott

Alternates: Cade Grimaldi, Colin Kachlic, Mark Mattson

Alternates: Alexis Nelson, Jinnaea Richardson, Mady Klebenow

Sectional Help

We will send out assignments for help at the Sectional meet on Wednesday, but we can always use more help. Even if you can't help at the meet more donations for concessions are always appreciated. We have plenty of drinks, but we could use more food items. We also encourage any runners who are not running in the race to come out and cheer on their teammates as they try to become one of the top three teams in the Sectional race and move on to State from one of the toughest Sectionals in the IESA.

Awards Night

Awards Night will be on Wednesday, October 14 at Yorkville Middle School from 5 to 6:30pm. The handouts given to runners said it will be in the cafeteria, but because of a conflict with another event we will be in the gym. All runners and their families are invited and everyone will receive a certificate with their accomplishments.
