Fox Trot Invite Results and Monday's Practice
October 4, 2014
Julia Gibbs had the lone P.R. at the Fox Trot Invite, but given the conditions it wasn't surprising we didn't see personal records on an otherwise fast course. Monday will be the last practice for the entire team. We will hand out stickers, talk about some important end-of-season issues, and announce our post-season roster. Those running in the post-season will have practice for the next two weeks, including Columbus Day.
GIrls JV Race
Madison Grandys ran a solid race and held second for the entirety of the girls junior varsity two-mile race in a time of 13:43. Olivia Ross, who has only been on the team for three weeks, was second for the girls in 10th place with a time of 14:19. Samantha Moreno earned the final medal in the race with her 15th-place finish in 14:43. Hannah Wolf (18th, 15:04) and Alexandra Badus (21st, 15:12) finished the scoring for the team while Alexandria Meyers (25th, 15:31) and Maddie Russelburg (27th, 15:35) completed the top 7. It turns out a Batavia runner was missing from the results so they actually ended up winning by 2 points. We will talk about it Monday as a team, but, regardless of the outcome, everyone should be proud of how they did yesteday.

Why does the iesa website list the rotolo boys as sectional champions?
Anonymous on October 11, 2014
They should arrive at noon.
Anonymous on October 11, 2014
What time should the runners arrive today for sectionals? Thank you.
Coach Miller on October 6, 2014
I hope you aren't too disappointed in your season. If you worked your hardest that's all you can ask of yourself. You can't control how fast others are running, but if you tried your best you should be able to end your cross country career with your head held high. I'm sorry to hear you don't plan to continue in high school, but good luck with whatever you end up doing next fall.

I don't know how I feel about Xc being over I'm happy that I don't have to deal with the stress anymore but I'm done with Xc forever and I never liked how it went at the beginning of my 7th grade year I was in a great position but I let people get faster then me and I never seemed to get faster all of that year all I heard was you have your 8th grade year don't worry however I got slower in 8th grade but even then I started out in the top 10 but then moved down I got a pr 3 times this year and it took me a month to get 1 and 1 of those was a 4 second pr i bet you know who this is but I just wanted to get it all out

Make sure we keep things civil. No problems so far, but I just want to jump in to make sure it stays that way.
