Meet Week
September 16, 2013
We have a lot of meets this week, but to protect the health of our runners and to make sure we are getting in quality workouts the most anyone will run is in two of them. Please note that Friday's practice is from 3:30 to 5pm since the coaches have meetings all day.
Lyon Farm & Geneva
Thanks to everyone who offered to volunteer at Lyon Farm on Tuesday. Coach Miller's group will not be running on Tuesday, but everyone else will participate. Coach Miller's group will have practice at Lyon Farm and then cheer on their teammates after their practice.
The Geneva South meet at Peck Farm Park will be run by those not participating in the Troy Invite. Troy runners will go to the meet and have their practice at Peck Farm. We estimate we will return from Geneva between 6 and 6:30pm.
Troy Invite Roster
The Troy Invite on Saturday is one of our biggest meets of the year. The bus will leave at 7am on Saturday for the course at Hammel Woods Forest Preserve in Shorewood. Awards should be around 11:30am and we anticipate returning around 12:30pm. Any athletes running at Troy will not run at Thursday's meet at Geneva South. If anyone cannot make the Troy Invite please let us know ASAP. It is a fun race to participate in and we don't want to leave any roster spots open. The following is our roster for Saturday's Troy Invite:
