On To State

We might host Sectionals every year if this is the kind of performance we see out of our teams. Not only did the girls and the boys both win their Sectional for the first time in team history, both teams won decidely.
All-Sectional honors were awarded to Alexis Grandys, Maggie Klemm, Dominque Anderson, Alexx Nauman, Darien Ramos, Dawson Diederich, and Zack Price for top-10 finishes.
Everyone who is going to State should have received an email with important information. You will need to turn in the form attached to the email at Tuesday's practice.
The season isn't over yet as we still have our most important race to go. Congratulations for a fantastic job today, everyone. Take the weekend to rest up and be ready to go again on Tuesday.

Hey way to go middle school xc you guys did great this year! You guys did amazing at sectionals winning in both the girls and boys congrats! Keep up the good work and I will be praying for you guys at state! :)

i think that we should actually do a running group this year. i know the coaches cant coah us or anything but we are responsible enough that i think we could have a running group..

Officially, the coaches cannot be a part of a winter running club after October and until track starts. You're free to do create something on your own or you could find a sponsor who is not a cross country or track coach.

The bus would probably leave around 7:30. We'll post information before Friday about the bus. Lucas and Brett were our two extra alternates.

There may or may not be a fan bus. It depends on how many runners do not go down early on Friday. We'll try to coordinate car pools if there isn't a bus, though. The awards ceremony is at 3:15 so the bus should return to Yorkville around 6.
