We Are NOT Going To Belvidere

Unfortunately, we will not be going to the Belvidere Central Invite this year. Belvidere's previous coach left suddenly and when they invited teams to the invite they did not have us on the list for whatever reason. We had tried to contact Belvidere a few weeks ago, but we did not know they had a new coach so we did not get any response from the previous coach's email. After we finally realized they had a new coach and called the school yesterday they were not willing to let us join the invite.
We are pretty upset about the situation, but at this point there is nothing more we can do. Instead of the invite we will have a practice tomorrow at Silver Springs from 9 to 10:30am. We will hold a race at Silver Springs that we held in previous years called the "Red/White Run" so our runners will have a chance to set new PRs or team records.

I finished 5th overall with a timeof 13:05 and Lucas Farren was right behind me he was probably at 13:07 and then Grant Bowers probably at a 13:08 and then Karson Manukas probably at a 13:09 and then Zack Price probably at a 13:12

The app we use to record times did not save the times. If you remember your time post it here and we will put it on the site. I remember a few times and places, but not enough.

so is there still a belvidere invite? because why couldn't we ust go... if they normally invite us shouldn't we be able to go. sorry i'm complaining but it just doesn't seem fair. it's like telling someone they can't come to a party they were accidentally invited to. :( i suppose i'm just sad that we can't go because i've been soo excited to go there all season and it was my favorite invite last year and it means one more meet/invite i cant be in..:( and i was wondering if we have to wear our uniforms tomorrow since you said it was a meet.

They didn't cut us from the meet. They just didn't have us on the list so we never got invited in the first place. I don't believe it was anything intentional on their end so please try to keep comments respectful.
