Parent Night and Picture Day

Parent Night is Tuesday, August 21 from 5 to 7pm at YMS. The night will start in the auditorium and we will then move to the cafeteria once we break up by sport. Athletes can stay at the school after practice is over if they'd like. The topics that we will cover regarding cross country can be found in our team packet.
Picture Day is Wednesday, August 22 during practice. Athletes should BRING THEIR UNIFORM on that day. We will not have extra uniforms for students who don't bring theirs. Athletes who have not earned their uniform yet will be allowed to borrow one for the day. We will be handing out uniform shorts on that day as well. If anyone has not received a picture form yet you can get one from Coach Miller.
Finally, this Saturday practice will be from 9am to 10:30am at Silver Springs, which is where Endurance Camp met on Fridays during the summer. We will be at the first entrance to Silver Springs by the concession stand. Check out our website for a map if you don't know where it is.

I'm not sure Plano has a team this year. I talked to the kid from Plano who ran Endurance Camp and he wasn't sure if they would have a team or not.

The uniforms WILL come in by picture day. Otherwise we're in a lot of trouble since we don't have enough.

Lake Zurich North finished in 18th last year and 3 of their top 5 runners are returning so they will probably be our biggest competition. I feel like we would have been a top 10 team last year if we made state so we should be in contention to win our sectional for the boys.
