The picture of me on this website is weird, I don't remember this meet, or maybe I do and I don't remember this being taken.

User Comment Grant Bowers on May 15, 2012

I can't wait for august 28, yorkville is hosting a cross country invite! I am happy that I will still be in the school and not moving into high school yet.

User Comment Coach Miller on May 14, 2012

Wow, that shows the guts of a cross country runner. Luckily, she's okay and going to State with her team! Congrats, Julia!

User Comment Jacob on May 13, 2012

Well miller I think that beats me falling in a ditch and me falling in a manhole during a race combined, although I still like telling people I fell in a manhole during xc, and I still think the water at Troy is the worst I've ever tasted.

User Comment Becca:) on May 13, 2012

Julia would of made state in her 400. She was in first and like 10meters away from the finish her legs cramped up and she fell to the ground and it was bad. she got back up and finished the race and still took 6th overall!!! Then she passed out for like 30 seconds I think and threw up like 5 times and we already had to get our alternate ready to run our 4 by 4 and then we prayed for Julia and were going to win it for her and then she came running back shouting "Im going to run with you!!!" and she did and she refused to sit out from everyone including a doctor lady and her parents and she helped us get to state. Even with what had happened she ran with us and we are now going to state! shes amazing!!!!

User Comment Coach Miller on May 13, 2012

I now need to know what Julia did.

User Comment Jacob on May 13, 2012

What Julia did at sectionals is a perfect exsample of what separates a runner from a football player, or at least what seperates a good athlete from a great athlete

User Comment BeCcA:) on May 12, 2012

Julia, if you read this, you are the most amazing person I've ever met. Without you, the tears I cried today would have been for losing, not winning. Even though people say miracles dont happen, I know for sure they do. It was amazing the way you kept wanting to run and keep moving forward even after people were telling you no, even that one lady with the finger button thing:)). I've never met anybody so determined and dedicated to a relay and to win like you are. Our whole relay did amazing.:))))
