Yorkville Middle School Square Dances
December 22, 2011
Most Yorkville Middle School students were excited to try for a Guiness World Record on the Wednesday before winter break, but it was even cooler to see Chicago news interested enough in the event to put YMS on TV. YMS cross country's own Thor Hester even got his shot at stardom with an interview at the beginning of the segment. You can check out the segment from ABC News below.

That's up to the coaches, but at the middle school level they generally let you pick what you'd like to try.

Track events are separated by grade. You can only compete in 4 events, but usually it will be less than that since 4 is a lot.
