Coach Miller at the High School

Before it becomes official I wanted everyone to know that I will be coaching the high school track team this year instead of volunteering for the middle school team. I felt like it would be an opportunity to learn from the high school coaches and athletes as well as be able to coach many runners for 6 years from 7th grade through high school. I didn't come about this decision lightly and I hope this does not affect anyone's decision to join the track team at the middle school. Coach Martin will be coaching the middle school team so cross country runners will still have a familiar face around. I do want to emphasize that I will still be coaching the middle school cross country team, which is something I would like to continue for as long as I am teaching in Yorkville. Good luck to everyone on the team this season, and if it doesn't conflict with the high school team's schedule I will try to make a few home meets.

haha team inspiration is in the lead :D and coach miller ill miss you but ill see you monday:D and at the meets for the high school that i can make it to!! but ill see you in cross country :D

Coach Martin coached distance two years ago so he may do it again. They did hire a coach to replace Mrs. Hafenrichter but I don't know who it is.

True true i was the same way but i said this: Mr. Miller!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! oh come on i was going to join to see you smile and laugh and Mr. Martin but when i ran the 800 last year you cheered and when GiGi ran the mile everyone cheered for her and when i ran you were he only cheering for me. and coach draper said this:Breyanna, I'll make sure he is able to go to as many meets as he can to cheer you guys on, sound good? and Mr Miller said this:Don't worry, Brey, I'll be at some meets. Plus, if you join in high school, I'll be at EVERY meet. Then i said this:Wait then who will take your place Mr. Miller??? he said this:I was volunteering last year so they won't have an extra coach, but they will need someone to replace Mrs. Hafenrichter since she's due to have her baby soon. The distance coach would probably be Coach Martin unless they hire another distance person. So yea ^_^"
