State Results

May 21, 2010

We don't have all the results from Friday, but we'll post what we have. You can check the IESA website for the full results once they're posted.

In the 7th grade boy's 110 meter hurdles Tyrius Porter placed 27th with a time of 18.74

In the 7th grade girl's discus Megan Brineman threw 64"3' for 30th place.

We don't have official results for any of our other athletes yet, but we do have the results we calculated. Malcolm Levy ran an unofficial 12.3 seconds in the boy's 8th grade 100 meter, Jackie Hirn threw 72" in the 8th grade discus, and Allena Ferguson jumped 15"4'. We will post updates here once we have them.

UPDATE 1: Malcolm Levy finished in 37th with a 12.55. We are still waiting on the full field event results from yesterday.

UPDATE 2: Jackie Hirn officially threw 72"7' for 28th place. Allena's jump of 15"4' was good enough for 15th place, the best ever finish for a YMS track athlete.

UPDATE 3: The 8th grade boy's 4x400 team of Malcolm Levy, Jake Lindholm, Parish Cunningham, and Justin Vacha ran a time of 3:53, which was only 4 seconds off the medal stand, for 20th place.
