Our 2014 Captains

We had runners from all groups and grade levels apply to be captains. Our 2014 captains are listed below along with an excerpt from their captain application. Congratulations to our 2014 cross country team captains!

Alex Badus: "I enjoy cheering on my teammates because when they push themselves to do something that's not easy for them that means the world to me."
Alex Loos: "I would like to share my passion for running along with my cross country experience to help my teammates, new and old, achieve their goals for a successful season."
Ben Tholen: "I never put people down and always encourage people to try new things."
Colleen O'Connor: "I would support the team in every way possible while trying my best everyday and recognizing the amazing abilities of the other runners. Cross country is the most empowering sport for young athletes!"
Hannah Wolf: "I think I would be a good team captain by checking on every runner on the team and help encourage those who are having a hard time."
Jazmin Russell: "I will be a good team captain because I can maintain a positive attitude."
Molly Breen: "I will encourage people to try their hardest and give positive support and positive energy each meet."
Olivia Borowiak: "Last year in cross country everyone was supporting everyone [and I want that to continue this year]."
Tyler Jensen: "I believe my job is to encourage others to do their best every day and reach their goals."
Victoria Crawford: ""I will always encourage every runner to go beyond what they think they can do and support them in any way possible."
