Fox Trot Invite Roster and Information

This Saturday, weather permitting, will be the last meet of the year for the majority of the team: our own Fox Trot Invite at Yorkville High School. The course is a faster course than Lyon Farm so we hope a lot of the team will be able to end the season with P.R.'s. Also, it will be the last chance for runners to make their case to be on our post-season roster. Our Sectional/State roster will be announced at our last all-team practice on Monday.
The Fox Trot Invite consists of JV and Varsity races as well as an Open race. JV races are only for 7th graders while anyone can run in the Varsity and Open races. Additionally, we are limited to 10 runners in the JV and Varsity races.
Awards will be given to the top 15 runners in the JV and Varsity races as well as the top 10 boys and top 10 girls in the Open race. Trophies will be given to the top 2 teams in the JV and Varsity races and there will also be an overall meet trophy. We have created our roster to try to give our team the best chance to win the overall trophy so please don't think the roster has anything to do with who will make our Sectional/State roster.
Finally, Mrs. Black has offered to help organize collecting items for the concessions stand at Fox Trot and Sectionals. You can read this letter for more information.
