So you've signed up for cross country in the fall. What do you do next? First of all, make sure you have your $50 activity fee, physical, and registration form turned in by the first practice on August 17. You can get the forms from the main office at YMS.
After you've done the boring paperwork it's time to do some running. Any running you do over the summer will help, but the
Endurance Camp run by the high school team will be an even bigger benefit. We had two runners at the camp last summer and they both improved tremendously because of their work at the camp. According to Coach Draper there are already a lot of 7th and 8th graders signed up so you won't be on your own. Hope to see you there!
