Tiger Trail Information

Please note that we DO have practice this Friday even though school is not in session. Practice will be from 3:30 to 5pm since the coaches have meetings during the day.
If you preordered a t-shirt from Tiger Trail please get your money to Coach Miller as soon as possible. The cost was $15 and checks can be made payable to "Thompson Junior High". If you didn't preorder you may still have an opportunity to buy a shirt at the invite on Saturday.
Everyone is eligible to run at Tiger Trail. Boys and girls will run at the same time, but will be scored seperately. In the past the top 10 runners in each race have been awarded medals and the top 3 teams have earned trophies. We will not be able to win the meet overall because we do not have a 5th or 6th-grade team.
Tiger Trail Schedule:
7:30am: Bus leaves YMS
9:00am: 6th Grade 1.5 Miles
9:45am: 7th Grade 1.5 Miles
10:30am: 8th Grade 2.0 Miles
11:30am: Awards in Thompson Gym

Top 7 and then we get to take 20 total for the open race. We will take runners who have a chance of making our Sectional/State team or earning a medal in the open race. Medals in the open race have typically been 13 minutes or less for the boys and 14:30 or less for the girls.

I'm not sure if anything was found on the girl's bus. Coach Nauman might know so ask her on Monday. The Channahon roster will be announced on Monday.

I haven't heard anything about Troy shirts. I'll contact them and see what's up. Times are up now. I usually post pictures a few days after a meet once I get them from parents so pics will be up later this week.

I didn't say Tuesday was our last meet. I said Conference was the last meet for most of the team. We will have two buses, but its a quick ride of about 15 minutes.
