Conference, Awards Night, and Sectionals
October 5, 2011
Thursday is the Prairie Conference meet, which will be the last race of the season for the majority of our team. The team will leave from the middle school at 3:15pm for Thompson Junior High in Oswego, which is the same course as the Tiger Trail Invite.
Those who will not be running at the Sectional on Saturday are still expected to be at practice on Friday. We will be handing out stickers, talking about the off-season, and watching a movie. Runners are free to stay at the school after practice until Awards Night begins at 6pm.
Coach Miller will be contacting everyone Wednesday night to let you know what and how much to bring to Awards Night. If you don't have an email from him by Thursday morning please contact him at demiller@y115.org.
Finally, all team members are free to join us on the bus to the Sectional at Troy on Saturday. The bus will be leaving at 7am from the middle school. Sectional runners and alternates are required to attend so don't be late.

Okay so yeah.... Awards Night was awwwesome! Good job all 8th Graders and good luck all 7th Graders for next year!!! :D Okay so results from Conference please...? Thanks for putting up the pics by the way!! :D

hi jessica! omg, so isn't sydney sick? i feel really bad for her and i hope she feels better soon. also, we did amazing this season, and i know a lot of people have improved A LOT since they began. i hope next year will be just as great<3 hey, i'm also staying after practice until the awards. who else is? oh and miller/martin, do you need me to bring anything...because my mom is wondering what to bring that isn't...cookies or something we shouldn't eat before sectionals?

Hey I just wanted to say congrats to everyone who did cross country this year you all did great and helped our team. I would also like to congradulate Gianna on winning conference you go!!! Also, anyone else who got a medal good job!!! I hope everyone enjoyed the course again I know I sure did keep it up foxes and I hope to hear all the great things about our 7th graders this year next year!!!!!

The mini bus thing isn't happening so we will be taking a regular bus. Sorry to cause Sara to hyperventilate (I'm guessing that was Sara). We haven't picked the movie yet, but it will be an incredible, inspirational movie about running. Practice will start at 3:30 and you can stay until Awards Night if you want.

what movie are we watching tomorrow? and read the comment below if u haven't already... what is with the mini buses... that person really want to know... the are probably hyperventilating... and that is never good... whenever we see someone from cc we need to high five them!!!: ) good luck at conference today and beat those people we are going against. truthfully the hill isn't SUPER bad... remember we ran there before and we did great. we just need to do great again!!!!
