The Last Time Trial

Our final time trial of the year was a pretty successful one. Thanks to a group led by Katy Kellogg we had a lot more runners earn their uniforms on the first try than we expected. Runners earn their uniforms by running a 2 mile race without walking and we're proud of everyone for this accomplishment. Those who haven't earned their uniforms yet don't have to feel bad since you'll get another chance on Tuesday at Troy.
We were happy to see so many runners earn their uniforms and we were also happy to see our top runners experience some success as a number of personal records were set and more team records were broken. Alexx Nauman broke his own 7th grade record for the time trial with a time of 12:56. Julia Megazzini smashed the 2-year-old time trial record for 7th grade girls with a time of 14:08. The 8th grade girls continued their dominance by shattering the time of 13:42 Julia set during the first time trial. Rebecca Jasutis broke the record with a time of 13:40, Gianna Salzbrunn broke it with a time of 13:39, and Julia Schultz bested her time with a 13:13. Unfortunately for those three, Erin Reynolds had them all beat with a time of 13:10 so she will be the time trial record holder for the year.

We will announce the top 7 on Monday. We will get pictures at Raging Waves and we will have a lot of pictures at meets this year so no worries.
