Our First Meet

Our first meet is this Tuesday, August 31 at Minooka. It should be fun to see how our runners have progressed and how they match up against other teams. Runners should not leave on the buses after school, but should meet in the cafeteria. The bus will leave at 3:15 from the athletic entrance of the school.
Since our uniforms haven't come in yet athletes should wear their PE uniform top or any other red shirt that says "Yorkville" on it along with a pair of black athletic shorts. Below are some other meet essentials:
- Running shoes and spikes, if you have them
- Water bottle!
- Healthy snacks such as energy bars, bagels, bananas, etc.
We'd also like to congratulate our Runner of the Week, Rebecca Jasutis, for her effort so far this season. Although we picked her for the week of August 23rd she has stood out from the crowd all season and it's only now she is getting recognized for it.
