Cross country practice will start August 2 and hopefully those who are interested in joining are running, whether it's with Endurance Camp or not. We will be practicing at the high school track until school starts and would love having parents or any other volunteers running with us. If you're interested in running with the team in August send Coach Miller an email at demiller@yorkville.k12.il.us.
For those who are definitely joining cross country in the fall you may be interested in becoming a captain. Potential captains need to fill out an application and turn it in to Coach Miller. This can be done during Endurance Camp or it can be sent to the high school where Coach Miller teaches. Runners may also be interested in recruiting their friends to join. The runner who does the best job of recruiting will get an award at the end of the cross country season. Runners are encouraged to print out a lot of recruiting contest forms and get as many friends to join as possible.
